Petra Ritzer is an experience designer working in the encounters of digital and physical space and is driven by a critical and systematic design approach, which explores the layering of both realms. This juxtaposition provokes novel concepts on material and technology consciousness.

Her MA project provides a new understanding of matter through an interactive installation that identifies objects and utilises an AI database to project the full lifespan of material evolution onto design objects. This immersive experience provokes new ideas on an optimistic sustainable future through a reimagined relationship of users, scientists and designers, offering a deeper understanding for the future impacts of our current ways of buying, thinking and creating.
