Reflection

Over the last couple of years the university has been collecting internship reports to share experiences with other students.

The project was about to make this data accessible in a visual way. The idea was to visualize coherences between the labor situation and the subjective valuations and additionally their development over time.

USE OF

DATA

CONCEPT

The values regarding the labor situation are visualized as static bars. As the subjective valuations are reflecting on the labor situation the bars are visually based on water reflections with a slow movement. The information graphic is composed of three parts: The selection menu, the timeline and the visualized data at the center. The selection menu is divided in two categories, the labor situation and the subjective evaluations. On the timeline all internships are indicated regarding by its time and duration. The central graph shows the bars in relation to the selection of time and category.

The interactive information graphic gives students and professors an overview on developments in the past and should help to recognize current and future tendencies.
